Anita W. is currently working as a Clinical Research Associate at Character Biosciences. With a background in various roles in clinical research, legal, and medical fields, Anita has experience working at Hudson Medical Group, Weitz & Luxenberg PC, Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as research and teaching roles at various universities. Anita holds Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Medical Anthropology from Boston University and Integrative Neuroscience and Italian from Binghamton University.

Character partners with patients, providers, payers, and scientists to create deeply-phenotyped patient cohorts to enable clinical genomic research. Our approach integrates genomics, longitudinal clinical and imaging data, machine learning, and novel experimental approaches to identify the molecular drivers of disease progression and develop innovative targeted medicines.
