Geoffrey C. Goldsmith began his career in 1979 as a toxicology technician at Bio Research in Montreal, Canada. Bio Research was acquired by CTBR, which was subsequently acquired by Charles River in 2004 as a part of the Inveresk acquisition. Mr. Goldsmith developed broad experience through a number of positions of increasing responsibility in various disciplines including toxicology, operations management, veterinary science, procurement, information technology, and facilities. In 2010, Mr. Goldsmith was promoted to Corporate Vice President Preclinical Services, Operations. His role was expanded to include Research Models and Services in 2012. In 2014, based on his broad experience in operations management, Mr. Goldsmith was promoted to the newly established position of Corporate Vice President, Global Operations Optimization. In 2015, Mr. Goldsmith was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President, Global Operations Optimization.
