Hal Paul

Hal Paul is an accomplished finance executive currently serving as Finance Director for Global Client Service & Support and International Businesses at Charles Schwab since August 2014. Paul has a robust history in financial strategy and analysis, previously overseeing significant aspects of Schwab's operations, including its international businesses in APAC and Europe, while managing Human Resource functions across the company. Prior to joining Charles Schwab, Paul held various leadership roles at Western Union, notably as Director of Global Prepaid Cards for the US & Canada, where strategic innovations led to a 200% increase in product revenue. An earlier career included finance roles at Western Union and consulting positions that delivered substantial cost savings and revenue growth. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Colby College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.
