Jane Garner is a seasoned academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of information management. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer and Australian Research Council DECRA Research Fellow at Charles Sturt University since December 2018, Jane also holds the position of Associate Editor at Library Quarterly since 2020. Previous roles include Sessional Academic at RMIT University focused on the Masters of Information Management Program and teaching roles at Victoria University in library studies programs. Jane's foundational experience includes various librarian positions at the University of Melbourne from 1991 to 2003. Jane holds a PhD in Business Information Systems from RMIT University and a Bachelor's degree in Information and Library Management from the same institution.
