Adam Ragus is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in emergency services and maritime operations. Currently serving as a Firefighter/EMT with the City of Charleston since January 2019, Adam previously held the position of Deck Officer at Masters Mates and Pilots from November 2015 to January 2022, achieving certification as a Licensed Watch Officer - Second Mate Unlimited. Adam's early career includes a significant tenure with the U.S. Coast Guard from July 2012 to July 2015, where responsibilities encompassed managing the maintenance, training, and operational schedules of 26 major Coast Guard Cutters as well as various navigational duties. Academically, Adam holds a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Design & Performance Improvement from The Citadel and a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Transportation from California State University Maritime Academy.
