David Meeks is an experienced landscape architect and administrator, currently serving as the Administrator for the Design Review Board at the City of Charleston since April 2017. In this role, David guides permit applicants and the Design Review Board in aligning with the goals established by the City Council of Charleston. Prior experience includes serving as Garden Aesthetics Manager at Greenacres Foundation, where David managed garden design and staff at a historic estate in Ohio, and ownership of Meeks Landscape Design. Previous positions also encompass plan review for the City of Chicago, as well as various roles in real estate sales and landscape architecture with reputable firms. David holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Gordon College.
