Michael Allen has over 30 years of professional experience, primarily in budget and finance within the public sector and operations in the airline industry. Currently serving as a Budget and Finance Inspector for the City of Charleston since August 2009, Michael Allen acts as the single point of contact for contractors, ensuring compliance with business license requirements. Prior to this, Michael Allen worked with United Airlines from November 2011 to May 2013 in ground operations for commercial flights and possessed extensive experience in international shipping as a Deputy Manager with Evergreen America, where responsibilities included terminal management from 2001 to 2005. Michael Allen graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.A. in History and a minor in English.
