Philip Overcash is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in urban and regional development. Currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Charleston since February 2000, Philip has previously held the role of Planner within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions as a GIS Technician for both Charleston County and the City of Charleston, along with a role in the Renewal Team at Standard Life UK. Philip also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant at the Joseph P. Riley Institute for Public Affairs & Policy Studies. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in International Studies and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of South Carolina.
