Ted Woolford, CMP, CEM has extensive experience in event management and coordination, currently serving as a Senior Event Manager at the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority since October 2011. Woolford also holds a long-term role at the Charlotte Convention Center, where contributions have included the successful management of large-scale events such as the American Legion National Convention and the Alpha Kappa Alpha National Convention. Previous roles include customer service positions at Show Pros Entertainment Services and Radisson Grand Resort, as well as internships with the Charlotte Knights and Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority. Woolford holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Liberty University, achieved between 1993 and 1997.

Our responsibilities include destination marketing through Visit Charlotte and management of Charlotte’s public assembly facilities which include Bojangles' Coliseum, Charlotte Convention Center, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Ovens Auditorium and Time Warner Cable Arena.
