Devon Yu

Devon Yu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they started their career as a Teller at Wells Fargo, where they worked until 2016. In 2018, Devon worked as a Software Engineer at NextLens.io, where they designed and developed a single-page web application for lens recommendation. They utilized various technologies like JavaScript, React, NodeJS, and PostgreSQL. They also implemented unit tests, snapshot testing, and deployed the platform on Heroku with Travis CI. From 2018 to 2019, Devon worked as a Teacher Assistant at Galvanize Inc. In 2019, they joined Facebook as a Software Engineer for a few months. Currently, since 2020, Devon works as a Software Engineer at Chartboost.

Devon Yu completed a Bachelor's Degree in Management Science from UC San Diego from 2010 to 2013. In 2017, Devon attended Hack Reactor for an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive program. Devon also obtained a certification as a Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte in October 2019.
