The Charterhouse
Sufina is Director of John Ellerman Foundation, a medium-sized grantmaker in the arts, environment and social action. Before joining the Foundation, Sufina worked at the City of London Corporation. She has also worked for the National Lottery Community Fund and City Bridge Trust. Sufina started her career at charities working with adults with learning disabilities and older people, and today holds a number of charity trustee positions.

The Charterhouse
The Charterhouse has been living the nation’s history since 1348. Founded as a medieval monastery of the Carthusian order, the site became a Tudor mansion, a boys’ school, and an almshouse, which it remains to this day.
