Dr. Helen Evans currently serves as the Deputy Director of Clinical Services (Interim) and Medical Devices Safety Officer at CHEC since May 2023, after holding multiple roles at Aspen Healthcare from February 2012 to April 2024, including Group Theatre & Endoscopy Lead and Nurse Consultant in Infection Prevention & Control. Prior experience includes a position as a Specialist Advisor at the Care Quality Commission from June 2015 to October 2017, and roles in infection control at St Georges and Southwest London NHS Mental Health Trust and Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. Dr. Evans holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Economics from Brunel University London, a Bachelor of Science in Health Management from Anglia Ruskin University, and a Diploma in Professional Studies in Nursing with a focus on Infection Prevention & Control from the University of Hertfordshire. Additionally, Dr. Evans is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Heriot-Watt University.
