Dror Banayan began their work experience as a Java Programmer at Unisfair, a startup that focused on virtual events, from January 2007 to January 2010. Dror then joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise in January 2010 as a Senior J2EE Programmer for the Executive Scorecard Application, where they developed a pure JAVA server-side and led end-to-end features until August 2012. From August 2012 to August 2013, Dror was a Team Leader at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, leading a team of five developers responsible for developing E2E features. Dror then became a Senior Java Developer for the ArcSight On-Premise product from August 2013 to January 2015, developing the UI using JS, AngularJS, and CSS. From January 2015 to December 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise on an APM SaaS product, focusing on client-side development using JS, AngularJS, Node, and Grunt. Dror currently works at Checkmarx, where they started as a Senior Java Developer from January 2017 to November 2018, then became a Java Team Lead from November 2018 to November 2020. Dror is currently the R&D Group Manager, holding the position since November 2020.

Dror Banayan's education history includes obtaining a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, from the period of 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Hebrew University Secondary School from 1992 to 1995, where they acquired a matriculation certificate in Mathematics and Physics.
