Nadia Ribeiro

Nadia Ribeiro is an experienced compliance professional, currently serving as the Regional Head of Compliance for APAC at Checkout.com since April 2021. Nadia has held multiple compliance-related titles within the organization, including Director of Compliance for MENA & APAC and Regional Senior Manager of Compliance for APAC. Prior to joining Checkout.com, Nadia worked at Wise Ltd. as a Compliance & Financial Crime Compliance specialist for APAC and had prior experience at M/HQ in Compliance & Legal Counselling for MENA. Nadia's earlier career includes roles at DLA Piper as a Senior Associate and Associate, as well as a trainee position at AVM Advogados. Nadia holds a Master’s degree in Law and a Post-Graduate degree in Public Law from the University of Lisbon, alongside legal training from Central Law Training with McKenna LLP in London and membership in the Portuguese BAR Association.
