Dave Leal

Dave Leal has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Dave currently works as a Sr. Sales Engineer at Chef Software, where they focus on implementing DevSecOps and automating application delivery. Prior to this, Dave worked as a Sr. Solutions Engineer at Automation Hero, Inc., where they focused on end-to-end automation in the workplace. Dave also served as a Sr. Pre-Sales Technical Consultant at UiPath, where they acted as a strategic advisor to prospects, customers, and the sales force. Earlier in their career, Dave held positions such as Sr. Sales Engineer at Kofax, Sr. Technology Consultant at Concur Technologies, and VP of Sales Engineering at InSite One. Dave also worked as a Sr. Sales Engineer at Spirent Communications, Fischer Imaging Corporation, and NetTest. Dave's work experience is complemented by their service as a Non-Commissioned Officer-Sgt in the United States Air Force.

Dave Leal attended Regis University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems). Dave has also earned additional certifications, including "Learning GDPR" from LinkedIn in July 2019 and "CISSP" from the INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY CERTIFICATION CONSORTIUM in June 2013.
