Anita John

Anita John, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting, starting as an Office Accountant/Controller at Baker Sanders LLC in 2001. Anita then progressed through various roles at MMBB Financial Services, State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Cerini and Associates, LLP, Grant Thornton LLP, Sheehan & Company, and AHRC Suffolk before becoming the Director of Finance at Chembio Diagnostics, Inc. in 2023. Throughout their career, Anita has showcased their expertise in financial management, auditing, and tax services.

Anita John, CPA, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Baruch College in 2006. Anita then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting from LIU Post in 2015. Anita also obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification from ACAMS in 2017, followed by becoming a Certified Public Accountant through the New York State Education Department in the same year.
