Anne Kottmeier is Chemonics’ Chief Information Officer. She has more than 20 years of global experience in business transformation and information technology management for Fortune 500 companies and non-profits across multiple industries. Most recently, Anne served as the Chief Product Officer of AccelerEd, a Global Distance Learning Institution with more than 90,000 students in 150 locations at the University of Maryland Global Campus. She worked in close collaboration with the CEO to identify new products and services and organize their delivery to external customers. Before her position at AccelerEd, she served as vice president of information technology and operations for AARP, where she developed an IT strategy, provided leadership and management of business applications, infrastructure, end-user engineering, and supported the business digital transformation. Anne achieved her master’s degree in computer science and telecommunications and bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics from the Ecole Polytechnique Feminine, Paris and worked for France Telecom for many years. She earned her MBA in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and completed an executive program at Harvard Business School.
