Scott Rook joined Chemtrade in September 2019 as Chief Operating Officer and assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2021. As COO, Scott was accountable for delivering improved profitability and free cash generation from all Chemtrade businesses. He has more than 28 years of experience in the chemical industry including commercial, operational, and business leadership roles. Before joining Chemtrade, he was Senior Vice President, Commercial, at Ascend Performance Materials, focusing on delivering business results, long-term growth strategies, capital allocation, and M&A activities. Prior to Ascend, he held executive positions at Eastman Chemical Company. Scott has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA in Finance from Auburn University in Alabama.
