Loïc Fery

Loic Fery is the Chief Executive and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Chenavari. Mr. Fery is responsible for private credit activities, including loan portfolio acquisitions, private credit origination and private equity investments in specialty finance companies. Mr Fery is a board member of several financial institutions in which Chenavari invested. Prior to setting up Chenavari at the end of 2007, Mr. Fery was Managing Director, Global Head of Credit Markets at Calyon, the investment bank of Credit Agricole. In this role, he was responsible for credit, structured credit and high yield activities during his six year tenure, contributing to position the bank as one of the leading European structured credit houses. While at Calyon, Mr Fery was also involved with the launch of asset management subsidiary companies focused on credit and structured credit. Mr. Fery started his career with Societe Generale, where he ran the Asian credit desk in Hong Kong. During that period, he participated in several investments in distressed financial institutions and led several Asian banks’ restructuring transactions. Mr Fery has co-authored several books on credit derivatives and securitisation topics. He has a Master’s in Business Finance (MSc) from HEC Paris.
