David Murphy

Director Mental Health at CHEO

David Murphy is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in pediatric mental health services. Currently serving as the Director of Mental Health at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) since August 2015, David has previously held the role of Manager for Mental Health Outpatient Services and Mental Health Quality Improvement. David's career at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario began in October 1997, where initial positions included Lean Coordinator-CHEOWorks Fellow and Manager of Mental Health. Notably, David managed Acute Mental Health Services overseeing a 19-bed Inpatient Psychiatry Program, Eating Disorder Inpatient and Outpatient services, as well as Mental Health Crisis Intervention and Urgent Care services.
