Jennifer Gillert is an experienced leader in digital health, currently serving as the Director of Digital Health at CHEO since April 2009, where optimization of digital applications is prioritized to enhance patient care. Previously, Jennifer held the position of eHealth Manager, overseeing the implementation of clinical applications and managing project demands. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Business Systems Analyst, where Jennifer successfully led the build team for key modules of CHEO's electronic health record system, emphasizing clinician engagement and workflow improvement. Jennifer's background also includes positions at TELUS Health Solutions, the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and Calgary Health Region, along with research roles at the University of Waterloo and Health Canada. Educational credentials consist of a Master's of Science in Healthcare Quality from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies with a focus on Health Informatics from the University of Waterloo.
