Jim Castillo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Jim is currently the CTO & Co-Founder at CHEQ Mobile Solutions since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at RepairPal from September 2018 to November 2021. Jim has also been associated with OpenTable, where they held multiple roles including Software Architect, Director of Engineering, Sr. Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Senior Engineer from 2005 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Software Architect at Telution, Inc (now CSG Systems) from February 2000 to August 2005. Jim started their career as a Senior Consultant at Crowe Chizek in June 1997 and worked there until January 2000. Throughout their career, Jim has demonstrated expertise in software architecture, engineering management, and leadership roles.
Jim Castillo attended The College of Wooster from 1993 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. Following that, from 1995 to 1997, they enrolled at Case Western Reserve University and obtained another Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
