Lisa Funderburk

Lisa Funderburk currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Cherokee County School District in Georgia since July 2019, where responsibilities include supporting instructional leadership through teacher evaluations and assisting in policy development. Previously, Lisa held the position of Instructional Lead Strategist, focusing on strategic instructional training and fostering communication among educators and district leaders. Additionally, Lisa has been the Career and Technical Education Lead at Fulton County Schools since July 2011, managing standards and curriculum development for Career and Technology education. With experience as a Professional Development Consultant at LAPSEN from January 2020 to January 2024 and as an English Language Arts Instructor at Cherokee County School District from July 2005 to June 2011, Lisa has demonstrated a commitment to educational excellence. Lisa holds a Tier 1 degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of West Georgia and a Master of Education in Educational/Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University.
