Toni Austin

Toni Austin is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in internal and external communications. Currently serving as the People & Culture Communications Manager at Cherry Bekaert since September 2018, Toni has successfully executed integrated communication plans and overseen the production of various internal publications. Prior experience includes roles as a Communication Specialist at Essex Bank, where content was developed for employee engagement and stakeholder information, and as a Marketing Content Specialist at Padilla, where business development and proposal management were key responsibilities. Toni also held positions at CRT/tanaka, Wake Forest University, and the Virginia State Corporation Commission, showcasing a strong foundation in research and operational coordination. Toni holds a Master of Science in Corporate & Organizational Communication from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English from Wake Forest University.
