Brian Earnest

Brian Earnest, P.E. is a seasoned reservoir engineer with over a decade of experience at Chesapeake Energy, currently serving as Sr. Staff Reservoir Engineer for the Gulf Coast. Earnest has spearheaded all phases of the Haynesville and Bossier development, contributed to technical assessments for over 2,000 inventory locations, and coordinated portfolio assessments following the acquisition of Wildhorse Resources, optimizing the Eagle Ford and Austin Chalk formations. Previous roles at Chesapeake include working on conventional and unconventional assets, managing multi-disciplinary teams for substantial development programs, and overseeing drilling operations in various shale plays. Earnest holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
