Cody McCormick

Cody McCormick, PE, is a seasoned engineer with a robust background in production engineering, particularly in shale gas extraction and well servicing. Since June 2012, Cody has served as a Senior Staff Production Engineer at Chesapeake Energy, focusing on the Marcellus Shale, and has held various positions within the company, including Supervisor of Production Engineering and Staff Production Engineer, with experience in the Haynesville Shale and Powder River Basin. Prior to this, Cody worked as a Workover Foreman and Production Engineer in multiple regions, including South Texas and the Eagle Ford Shale, and started career as a Field Engineer Intern at Access Midstream. Cody holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University and a Master of Engineering in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
