Shane Volk

Shane Volk is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving at Chesapeake Energy since January 2023. Previously, Shane worked with ConocoPhillips, Concho, and Devon Energy, where significant contributions included optimizing subsurface characterizations, implementing innovative economic screening processes, and enhancing software utilization for production forecasting. At Devon Energy, Shane excelled in various roles, including Business Unit Strategic Planning and Reservoir Engineering Supervisor, where leadership in project management and successful integration of major acquisitions were achieved. Earlier experience includes tenure at ExxonMobil, focusing on reservoir engineering in the Permian Basin and the Offshore Gulf of Mexico. Shane holds an Executive Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
