William Hughston

Mr. Hughston was appointed Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer in August of 2021. In this role, he oversees human resources functions, which include talent acquisition, professional development and training, employee relations, employee retention and reward, succession planning, compensation and benefits, policy management, and compliance. Mr. Hughston is an accomplished human resources leader who, prior to joining Chesapeake Utilities, was senior vice president of human resources and chief diversity officer at Spectra Hospitality in Pennsylvania. His professional experience spans the hospitality and retail industries over the course of more than 20 years.
