Maggie Esson has extensive experience in wildlife education and conservation, currently serving as the Education Programmes Manager at Chester Zoo since June 2004. Prior to this role, Maggie held the position of Head of Conservation Education at Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust from August 1983 to June 2004, where responsibilities included overseeing zoo and overseas education programmes, managing membership and junior membership activities, and guiding education volunteers in interpretation planning and design. Educational background includes attendance at Galashiels Academy.
