Phd Student, Conservation Education at Chester Zoo

Thomas Smart is currently a PhD student at Durham University, researching the role of zoos in conserving species affected by climate change. Prior to this, Thomas worked as a Zoo Ranger at Natural England and as an Education and Events Assistant at Tropical World. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in French and Italian from the University of Bristol.
