David Goode

David Goode is an accomplished professional in public relations and communications, currently serving as the Director of Constituent and Media Services for Chesterfield County since December 2000. In this role, David manages the Public Information and Media Relations Section, overseeing a team of public information officers to deliver effective communication strategies across the county. Prior to this position, David held various roles within Chesterfield County, including Constituent Services Administrator and Public Affairs Officer, where responsibilities included developing communication strategies, writing for publications, and managing social media content. Earlier in David's career, experience was gained as a Senior Staff Writer at The Progress-Index and as Associate Editor and Manager at The News-Progress. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with a Public Relations concentration from Radford University.
