Michael Dennis is the Chief Research Officer and Senior Research Psychologist at Chestnut Health Systems since August 1995, where Michael leads key research projects such as the Early Re-Intervention experiment and contributes as a Co-Investigator on additional studies focused on recovery management. Additionally, Michael serves as the Director of the Lighthouse Institute, which specializes in research, program evaluation, and training related to evidence-based practices aimed at enhancing prevention, treatment, and recovery. Previously, Michael held the position of Coordinating Center Multi-PI at JJ-TRIALS and directed the GAIN Coordinating Center at the Lighthouse Institute. Michael's research has significantly advanced the Global Appraisal of Individual Needs instruments and is informed by a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, where training as both a student and graduate assistant occurred.
