Steven Bischof

Steven Bischof currently serves as Specialties R&T Manager at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, overseeing 26 research staff and 2 contractors focused on Specialty Chemicals, Normal Alpha Olefins, and Poly Alpha Olefins since September 2012. Previously, Steven held roles as NAO/PAO R&D Team Leader and Research Chemist, contributing to catalyst technology development and process scale-up for commercial applications. Steven earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry with a focus on Organometallics from Scripps Research and completed additional graduate studies at the University of Southern California. Earlier experience includes working as an Analytical Chemistry Technician at Guidant, providing support for various projects related to implantable medical devices. Steven completed a BA in Chemistry from Saint John's University and graduated from Bloomington Jefferson High School.
