Jon Meuser is an experienced executive and scientist, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Chi Botanic since September 2017. Previously, Jon held the position of Lead Scientific Advisor at Freestyle Beauty LLC from May 2022 to April 2023, focusing on R&D and new product development. Jon has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University in 2018. With a solid scientific background, Jon worked as a Senior Scientist at Algenol and as Scientist I and II at Synthetic Genomics, participating in significant biofuel research collaborations. Jon's early career includes roles as Co-director and Board Member of the Collective Biodiesel Conference. An educated professional, Jon earned a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering, alongside a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Biology from respected institutions.

Chi Botanic creates plant stem cells that we can grow into plant products and ingredients at industrial scale. We generate plant cell cultures representing just the parts or components that we want. Plant cell cultures grow much faster than whole plants. Also, while a fraction of a normal plant makes what we want, our entire cultures can synthesizethe desired product.
