John Henry Steinmiller is an accomplished media relations professional with extensive experience in the sports industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Media Relations for the Chicago Cubs since February 2024, Steinmiller previously held significant roles with the Chicago Blackhawks from January 2016 to February 2024, including Senior Director, Media Relations, and Media Relations Manager. Prior experience includes Basketball Communications Manager for the Phoenix Mercury and Media Relations Senior Manager for the Milwaukee Brewers. Early career positions included Media Relations Assistant at Marquette University and an intern with the Milwaukee Bucks. Steinmiller holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Marquette University.
