Yvette Garcia

Yvette Garcia is a seasoned library professional with over 23 years of experience in various roles within public libraries. Currently serving as the Assistant Director at Sulzer Regional Library, Chicago Public Library since June 2005, Yvette has held multiple positions including Branch Manager, YOUmedia Manager, and Maker Lab Librarian. Prior to this, Yvette worked at Round Lake Area Library from June 2000 to August 2005 as the Head of Adult Services. Yvette holds a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Knox College.
