Cherish B.

Cherish B. currently serves as the Business Diversity Manager at Chicago Public Schools, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this, Cherish was the Diversity Inclusion + Community Coordinator at BOKA Restaurant Group from August 2022 to November 2023, where responsibilities included creating and implementing DEI training for management and developing a company-wide diversity newsletter. Earlier experience includes an internship focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at Cornerstone Restaurant Group, where Cherish contributed to defining the company's DE&I mission and establishing partnerships with community organizations. Cherish began the professional journey as a Teacher Assistant at AFS Intercultural Programs in 2017. Cherish holds a Bachelor of Arts in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Kenyon College, earned in May 2022.
