Ty Mulroy is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in educational settings. Currently serving as the Chrome Platform Lead Engineer at Chicago Public Schools since December 2018, Ty previously held the position of Director Of Technology and Technology Coordinator at Payton College Preparatory High School from March 2007 to December 2018. In these roles, Ty coordinated resources with instructional staff to integrate technology into curricula and designed implementation models for emerging technologies. Earlier in the career, Ty worked as an IT Consultant and System Administrator at TechAngels from August 2004 to February 2007. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, earned between 2000 and 2004, and is an alumnus of Whitney Young High School.
