Rachel Balinao

Rachel Balinao is a dedicated student intern at Western Illinois University, where responsibilities include serving as the Sports Information Director for WIU Softball, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s Soccer. In addition to this role, Rachel works as a Guest Services Associate for the Chicago Red Stars, engaging fans during game days and community events. Prior experience includes managing social media for the WIU RPTA department and promoting the Chicago Red Stars as a Street Team Member, which involved community outreach and event coordination. Rachel's professional background is complemented by an educational pursuit of a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Broadcasting and Journalism at Western Illinois University, expected to be completed in May 2025.
