Sarah Ponder is a dedicated music educator and performer with extensive experience in vocal performance and teaching. Currently serving as a Teaching Associate at the University of Illinois Chicago since August 2021, Sarah has also been an Adjunct Voice Faculty member at Loyola University Chicago since 2013. In addition to academic roles, Sarah has a robust performance background with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Grant Park Music Festival, and Chicago Symphony Orchestra, contributing as a singer, chorister, and soloist. Sarah holds a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance and Spanish/Spanish Translation from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
