Waldo Acosta

Waldo Acosta is a Construction Project Manager at the Chicago Transit Authority since September 2024, previously serving as a Construction Engineer at SQN Associates from September 2019 to August 2024. Acosta's project experience includes significant roles in various initiatives related to the CTA, such as serving as Office Engineer and Project Controls Specialist for the NICTD/SSL Double Track NWI project, as well as involvement in multiple aspects of the CTA Mid-Con Program. Prior experience at the Chicago Transit Authority included a position as a Signal Engineering Intern, where designs for train detection systems were created. Acosta holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, obtained in 2019.
