Jeffrey Honsberger

Jeffrey Honsberger is the Controller at Child Care Resource Center. Jeffrey has over ten years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on hospital accounting. Jeffrey started their career as an Accounting Manager at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in August 2009 and held that position until January 2013. In that role, they supervised the preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports and coordinated the preparation of interim and final reports for both internal and external distribution. Jeffrey also managed the timely and accurate filing of statutory financial reports, conducted and coordinated comparative analyses of Financial Statement data, supported the Controller in coordination of internal and external audits, developed department financial forecasts, and supervised the preparation and review of monthly financial presentations for Board of Directors, Finance Committee, and Audit Committee meetings.

Prior to their current role, Jeffrey was an Accounting Manager at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where they supervised a staff of 10 and enhanced their professional growth through motivation and skill development. Jeffrey evaluated performance, established concise job descriptions, monitored expectations, and established departmental and individual goals. Jeffrey also managed the timely and accurate filing of statutory financial reporting, including federal and state income tax, property tax, sales tax and unclaimed property.

Jeffrey Honsberger holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara.

CCRC manages programs to assist with issues such as finding and selecting child care and child care financial assistance to families.
