Julia Laureto has a strong background in finance and accounting, with significant experience in various roles. Julia most recently served as the Director of Finance/CFO at the Children's Museum of Houston since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Houston ISD as an Assistant Controller from October 2018 to February 2022. From 2015 to 2018, they held the position of Assistant Controller at Harmony Public Schools - Texas. Before that, Julia worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at Quantum Resources Management, LLC from October 2013 to May 2015. Julia began their career at PwC, where they served as a Senior Tax Accountant from July 2009 to September 2013.
Julia Laureto completed their Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin from 2004 to 2009.
