Philip Andrews has a diverse work experience in the railway industry. Philip started their career as a Technical Apprentice at Thames Trains in 1991. After that, they worked at First Great Western Link, where they served as a Maintenance Technician and later as a Production Support Technician. At First Great Western, they also held the role of Depot Engineering Technician and temporarily worked as a Depot Engineering Manager. Andrews joined Angel Trains Limited in 2007, where they worked as a Contracts Manager, Redelivery Manager, and Account Manager. In 2015, they moved to Chiltern Railways as the Head of Engineering Commercial and later served as the Interim Engineering Director.
Philip Andrews obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from London South Bank University. Philip completed their education at the university between 2002 and 2006.
