Matt Piercy

Matt Piercy is a highly experienced software engineer specializing in infrastructure and address verification technologies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Chime since December 2020, Matt previously held leadership roles at Lob, where responsibilities included acting as tech lead for the Address Verification Engineering Team. With a foundational background in software engineering at TaxJar and Lob, Matt contributed significantly to both US and International Address Verification APIs. Additionally, Matt has experience as a full-stack engineer at Lark Health and has engaged in education as an English teacher and math tutor. Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by training from App Academy.
