Nelson Nazareth

Nelson Nazareth is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in architectural leadership and software development. As a Staff Software Engineer at Chime since December 2021, Nelson has contributed to innovative payment solutions. Prior to this role, Nelson served as Principal Architect at Sequent Software, Inc. from November 2012 to December 2021, where leadership in repurposing a payment token engine and migrating a legacy product to a microservice architecture was demonstrated. Earlier positions include leading software engineering efforts at ViVOtech and serving as a Senior J2EE Developer at Wells Fargo Bank. Nelson holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from San Francisco Bay University.
