Phillip Barnett

Phillip Barnett is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing web applications and managing team collaborations. Currently employed at Chime since August 2019, Phillip previously worked at Addepar from August 2016 to August 2019, where significant contributions included feature development for an Ember.js investment management application. Phillip's early career involved roles at Berkeley Youth Alternatives, where Phillip coordinated the MATCH Mentoring Program and served as a Career Development Case Manager, consistently meeting enrollment goals and enhancing performance reporting through Excel models. Prior internships at Jamba Juice and Thomson Reuters provided valuable insights into corporate communications and client training, respectively. Phillip holds a B.A. in Environmental Economics and Policy and African American Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed training at Dev Bootcamp from 2015 to 2016.
