Yohannes Teffera

Yohannes Teffera is an experienced professional in the field of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) and bioanalysis. Currently serving as Senior Director at Chimerix, Inc. since June 2021, Yohannes previously held senior leadership roles at Kintai Therapeutics and JOINN LABORATORIES, where responsibilities included directorships in DMPK. Earlier career highlights include positions as Principal Scientist at Biogen Idec and Amgen, as well as a Research Fellow at Merck & Co. and a Research Scientist at Roche Pharmaceuticals. Yohannes holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Medicinal Chemistry from Purdue University, earned between 1986 and 1991.
