Alex J. Zhang is the Founder and CEO of OneTwenty Therapeutics Inc. and the CEO of US Operations at Help Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on iPSC-derived cell therapeutics for degenerative diseases. Zhang has a significant leadership history, having served as a Board Member and former President of the Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society and held executive positions at Lifespan BioLabs, Hanhai BioLabs, and Enverest, LLC, which supports innovation and globalization for APAC enterprises. While at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Zhang contributed to strategic M&A initiatives and product development in the Specialty Diagnostics Group. Zhang's early career included roles at Lux Capital and Amgen, where responsibilities included venture capital consulting and directing drug discovery collaborations. Zhang holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, a PhD from Texas A&M University, and a BSc in Chemistry from Shandong University.

The Chinese American Biopharmaceutical Society (CABS) is a non-profit organization for professionals in the biopharmaceutical industry. CABS is a highly influential association with more than 3,000 members and subscribers in the life sciences industry. CABS is the largest and most active Chinese biopharmaceutical association in Northern America. We organize many activities to promote Sino-US collaborations in life sciences and to provide Science & Technology Parks and life sciences companies in China with an excellent platform to promote business and to recruit talent. In addition to year-round technology and business seminars, the annual BioPacific Conference organized by CABS is a highly anticipated event that attracts hundreds of biopharmaceutical professionals and business leaders.
