Matthias Rapp's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Matthias started as an Electrician Mechanic at CHIRON- Werke GmbH & Co.KG in 2003. Matthias then became a Field Service Technician at the same company in 2005. In 2008, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Trainee at Chiron America, Inc. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Project Manager at RAMPF Group. In 2015, they joined CHIRON- Werke GmbH & Co.KG as a Proposal Engineer. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Technical Sales Manager at CHIRON China. In 2020, they became the Head of Area Sales DACH at CHIRON Group SE. Later, they held the role of Head of Marketing CHIRON Group Global from 2021 to 2023. Since 2023, they have been serving as the Vice President Global Marketing at CHIRON Group SE.

Matthias Rapp holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Management of Technology from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung. Matthias pursued their master's degree from 2009 to 2011. In 2010, Matthias also studied abroad at HKBU School of Business for a semester, focusing on Business Administration. Prior to their master's degree, Matthias obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Management of Technology from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz – Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung. Matthias completed their bachelor's degree from 2006 to 2009. Furthermore, Matthias has a Specialist degree in Mechatronics from CHIRON-Werke GmbH & Co.KG, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
